Did you know that dental implants have been used to replace teeth for over 30 years? Titanium dental implants act as artificial tooth roots. When a dental implant is placed into the jaw, the bone naturally integrates with the implant, much like a titanium knee or hip replacement. At this point, the doctor can attach an “abutment” that screws into the dental implant and protrudes out of your gum tissue. On the “abutment,” the doctor can then attach either a new tooth (crown), or if there are no teeth, your denture can either “Snap” onto (Snap-in Denture) or screw into (All-on-X) the abutments!

With nearly 1,000 dental implants successfully placed and restored, you can be confident that Dr. Joshua Day has the knowledge to assist you in recreating your beautiful smile successfully! Check out the list of ways that Day Dental can get you back to being confident with your smile.

Dental implants provide a replacement for your tooth root. They serve as a foundation for a crown which matches the natural shade of your teeth.

An implant overdenture provides the patient with a removable denture that snaps into the implant locators. In most cases, 4 implants are placed into the arch to provide additional denture stability.

The All-on-X procedure involves the placement of 4-6 implants into the patient’s arch. The patient’s treatment is completed by delivering a fixed, screw-retained zirconia prosthesis.

Whether you’ve recently had a dental implant placed or in need of a new implant crown, we offer solutions to complete your treatment needs.
